Aamir Khan’s girlfriend, Gauri Spratt, recently made headlines after a video of her expressing frustration at paparazzi surfaced online. Spotted in Mumbai’s Bandra area on Wednesday, Gauri seemed visibly annoyed as photographers followed her during what appeared to be a casual walk. Dressed in an all-white ensemble white t-shirt, cargo-style pants, sneakers, and a light-colored crossbody bag Gauri kept her look low-key and comfortable, tying her hair back in a ponytail.
Despite her understated appearance, Gauri quickly became the center of attention. As paparazzi approached her and requested her to pose for pictures, she snapped back in irritation. “Arrey, leave me alone naa, I am just going for a walk,” she said sternly before continuing on her way. The video quickly went viral, prompting mixed reactions from social media users.
Some netizens sympathized with her, questioning why the media was hounding someone who isn’t a public figure in her own right. One user wrote, “But who wants to see her while she is going on a walk? Are these cameramen crazy?” Another added, “Why paps going behind her? She’s not an actor only Aamir’s girlfriend, so what’s the big deal?” Others, however, pointed out that being in a relationship with a major Bollywood star inevitably attracts media attention. “U are a celebrity now.. Paps will follow you everywhere,” one comment read.
Gauri Spratt became known to the public after Aamir Khan introduced her as his girlfriend on his 60th birthday. He revealed that the two had met 25 years ago, lost touch, and recently reconnected. Speaking about their relationship, Aamir described Gauri as someone who brings him “peace” — something he was seeking when they decided to give their bond a fresh start.
In a recent podcast appearance with Raj Shamani, Aamir reflected on his evolving views about relationships and marriage. Comparing his past experiences with his current outlook, he said, “Aaj jab main dekhta hoon, mujhe lagta hai, yaar, ‘Aaj ki date mein main agar kisi se miloon, 4 mahine mein shaadi ka decision le sakta hoon’? Nahi. Zindagi bhar iske saath guzaarna hai.”
Aamir was previously married to Reena Dutta (1986–2002), with whom he shares two children, Ira and Junaid. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they divorced in 2021. They have a son, Azad, born via surrogacy. Aamir maintains a cordial relationship with both of his ex-wives.
