The trailer was released at an event in Mumbai, which was graced by celebrities like Stree actress Shraddha Kapoor, only building up fan excitement. Releasing the trailer, the producers declared, “A neglected hero of our mythology, #Thamma gets his due this Diwali.” Made by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik and helmed by Aditya Sarpotdar, the movie has been labeled as “a bloody love story” that masterfully intertwines romance, horror, and dark humor.
Directed by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Falara, Thamma is the fifth entry in the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. The movie assures to upscale the franchise with a stronger emotional core, introducing new elements of storytelling to the cult classic series.
Thamma is all set to be released globally on October 21, right in time for the festive period, and is poised to turn out to be another hit with its interesting mix of love, horror, and comedy.
