Production houses Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts shared the exciting news on social media, unveiling a powerful poster featuring Jr NTR in a fierce, intense look. The poster boldly declares: Devara 2.
Sharing the announcement on X (formerly Twitter), the makers wrote, “It’s been one year since HAVOC struck the shores, trembling every coast… and the name the world remembers is #DEVARA. Be it the FEAR it unleashed or the LOVE it earned, the streets will never forget. Now gear up for #Devara2. Man of Masses @tarak9999. A #KoratalaSiva Film. An @anirudhofficial MUSICAL.”
Fans were quick to celebrate the news, with social media buzzing with excitement. Comments like “Part 2 should be mass” and “Time for Devara 2” quickly went viral. One fan emotionally shared, “Abba Sai Ram, until yesterday I thought #Devara2 wasn’t happening.”
In a previous interview with the Associated Press, Jr NTR had already hinted at the sequel, revealing that some scenes for Devara 2 were pre-shot during the filming of the first part. He expressed his commitment to making the second part “bigger and better,” encouraging director Koratala Siva to take the necessary time to perfect the script.
Devara: Part 1, starring Jr NTR, Janhvi Kapoor, and Saif Ali Khan, followed a gripping coastal saga of a man’s fight to protect his people. The film was a box office hit, especially in North America, where it even surpassed Megalopolis starring Adam Driver. It also marked Jr NTR’s return to a solo lead role after six years.
