The Mega Family is Impressed! Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, and Others Praise Pawan Kalyan’s OG

Pawan Kalyan's OG Gets a Thumbs Up from Chiranjeevi and Ram Charan - Watch the Viral Pic

Pawan Kalyan is walking on sunshine with the unprecedented success of his new action drama They Called Him OG. The film had a recent private show at Prasad Labs in Hyderabad, which was organized into a touching mega family event. Dignitaries in the Mega family, like Megastar Chiranjeevi, Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Sai Durga Tej, Surekha Konidela, and Pawan Kalyan’s kids Akira Nandan and Aadhya, were present at the event to extend their goodwill.

A very rare photo of the screening emerged on social media and went viral within no time. The photo is of Chiranjeevi, Surekha, Pawan Kalyan, Ram Charan, Varun Tej, Akira Nandan, Aadhya, and Sai Durga Tej all smiling in front of the camera after viewing the movie. Chiranjeevi, clearly impressed by the movie, admired his brother’s acting, describing it as “superbbb.”

Talking to Idlebrain, director Sujeeth replied to the continuing comparisons between OG and Adhik Ravichandran’s Good Bad Ugly. Sujeeth explained that OG was envisioned long before Good Bad Ugly was, and that its teaser came out well before Adhik had even started writing his film. He accepted the visual parallelisms—such as the katana and interwoven themes—but insisted on the fact that such comparisons do not usually tell the truth. “I’m happy for Adhik, and I like Ajith too,” he further added.

They Called Him OG has a star-studded cast in Emraan Hashmi, Prakash Raj, Arjun Das, Priyanka Mohan, and Sriya Reddy. Against the rough 1990s Mumbai backdrop, the plot revolves around Satya Dada (Prakash Raj), whose criminal empire is threatened brutally. The re-emergence of the now-forgotten gangster OG (Pawan Kalyan) from exile sets off a chain of revenge and brings back buried past secrets.
