Priyanka Chopra’s Heartfelt Post for Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran Will Make Your Day!

Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran, and Priyanka Chopra's Chemistry is Unstoppable

SS Rajamouli’s much-awaited film starring Mahesh Babu, Prithviraj Sukumaran and Priyanka Chopra has officially been titled “Varanasi.” The title reveal took place during the grand GlobeTrotter event in Hyderabad on November 15, where the makers also released the film’s first teaser, generating massive excitement among fans. A few days later, Priyanka Chopra took to Instagram to share a heartfelt appreciation post for her co-stars and Rajamouli, reflecting on her enthusiasm for the project.

In her post, Priyanka shared multiple pictures, including a lively selfie with Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, along with another frame featuring her close friend Tamanna Dutt. Expressing her joy, Priyanka wrote that working with two legends from the Telugu and Malayalam industries while being directed by SS Rajamouli is a privilege she cherishes deeply. She added that promoting the film with international media nearly a year before its release has been “incredibly exhilarating.”

Priyanka continued by expressing gratitude for the early global enthusiasm surrounding the film: “Seeing their response and the excitement already building is truly amazing. By God’s grace, we will live up to your expectations. Jai Shri Ram.” The official X handle of Varanasi soon reposted her pictures, referring to the trio as “the faces of a story that’s about to travel the world.”

In Varanasi, Priyanka Chopra steps into the role of Mandakini, while Prithviraj Sukumaran plays the formidable antagonist Kumbha. Mahesh Babu’s first look as Rudhra was unveiled at the GlobeTrotter event, accompanied by the film’s teaser.

The teaser offers a powerful introduction to Rudhra—blood-soaked, wielding a trishul, and riding a bull—establishing him as an intense and larger-than-life character. The inclusion of the hashtags #GlobeTrotter and #TimeTrotter hints at time-travel elements, adding a layer of intrigue to the film’s narrative. With its star-studded cast and Rajamouli’s signature grandeur, Varanasi is already positioned as one of the biggest cinematic events on the horizon.
