Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu has reportedly married director Raj Nidimoru, according to a report by HT City. The wedding is said to have taken place on Monday morning at the Ling Bhairavi Temple within the Isha Yoga Centre. The ceremony was reportedly attended by around 30 close family members and friends, with Samantha dressed in a red saree for the occasion.
Raj Nidimoru’s former wife, Sshyamali De, shared a cryptic post on her Instagram stories following the news, writing, “Desperate people do desperate things.” Raj and Sshyamali finalized their divorce in 2022.
Rumours about Samantha and Raj dating each other began circulating in early 2024, with multiple sightings of the two together at various locations. The couple also made discreet appearances at red carpet events, although they did not pose together publicly. They reportedly travelled to the United States together, where Samantha was also seen spending time with Raj’s sister.
Samantha had previously collaborated with Raj and DK on the Amazon Prime series The Family Man Season 2, in which she played the antagonist.
Prior to this, Samantha was married to actor Naga Chaitanya. The couple tied the knot in 2017 and announced their separation in 2021 after four years of marriage. Fans affectionately referred to them as “ChaySam,” and their divorce was widely discussed across South Indian cinema. Naga Chaitanya has since married actress Sobhita Dhulipala.
