Sydney Sweeney has delivered a striking lineup of high-fashion looks in New York City this week as she promotes her upcoming psychological thriller, The Housemaid. The 28-year-old actor turned heads at a special screening of the film, arriving in a stunning white gown inspired by Old Hollywood glamour. The dress featured a plunging neckline, delicate straps, and a ribbon bow at the bust, all embellished with crystals that added a subtle sparkle. A soft train and a dramatic feathered boa draped loosely over her arms completed the vintage aesthetic. Sweeney styled the look with voluminous retro curls, soft pink makeup, and shimmering earrings.
She was joined at the event by her co-star Amanda Seyfried, who opted for a pale pink halter gown with elegant ruching at the waist, creating a harmonious red-carpet pairing.
This appearance is just the latest in Sweeney’s streak of vintage-inspired fashion moments. At the Governors Awards last month, she wore an off-the-shoulder Miu Miu gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and a delicate crystal mesh overlay, paired with short curls reminiscent of classic Hollywood icons. Earlier in October, at Variety’s 2025 Power of Women event, she chose a sheer silver gown by Christian Cowan that added a modern twist to her retro-influenced style.

Her promotional wardrobe for The Housemaid continued to impress throughout the week. For an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Sweeney wore a cranberry red satin midi dress by Alex Perry. Later that night, she switched to a bold custom Patou ensemble for dinner at The Corner Store, featuring a bright red bubble miniskirt, matching cropped coat, red suede Magda Butrym boots, and oversized sunglasses.
Sweeney’s public outings come amid increased attention to her relationship with record executive Scooter Braun, after the two were photographed together in the Florida Keys over Thanksgiving.
The Housemaid arrives in theaters on December 19.
