Inside Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda’s Traditional Post-Wedding Celebrations

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda begin married life with village rituals, temple visits and heartfelt celebrations rooted in tradition.

Newly married couple Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda have begun their journey together with a series of meaningful traditional ceremonies that reflect both spirituality and cultural connection.

After their intimate wedding celebrations, the couple visited Vijay’s native village, Thummanpet, where they were warmly welcomed by members of the local community. Videos circulating online captured their arrival, with elders greeting them through customary rituals before escorting them to their newly built farmhouse.

For the special occasion, Vijay wore a pastel green kurta that balanced simplicity with elegance. Rashmika complemented the traditional setting in a dark blue silk saree that reflected both grace and cultural richness.

The farmhouse was beautifully decorated with flowers, creating a festive environment for the Satyanarayana puja performed there. The ritual, known for invoking blessings of prosperity and harmony, marked an important spiritual step as the couple began their married life.

Their post-wedding celebrations also included participation in family events. A day prior to the village visit, Rashmika and Vijay attended the Pelli Koduku function of Allu Sirish, younger brother of Allu Arjun.

Photographs from the function quickly gained traction online, especially those featuring the newlyweds alongside Allu Arjun. Fans were particularly delighted by this reunion, given Rashmika’s on-screen collaborations with the actor in Pushpa: The Rise and its sequel.

The couple’s wedding itself was held in Udaipur at ITC Mementos, where they tied the knot in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and loved ones. The wedding followed both Telugu and Kodava traditions, blending the cultural heritage of both families.

For the Telugu ceremony, Rashmika wore a rich rust saree adorned with a striking red border. The saree featured intricate temple-inspired motifs, drawing inspiration from architectural elements seen in Hyderabad’s historic structures.

Vijay’s attire also carried cultural symbolism. He chose an ivory dhoti silhouette paired with a vermillion angavastram, inspired by traditional weaving styles rooted in the region’s textile legacy.

Together, their wedding ensembles reflected not only personal style but also a celebration of heritage and craftsmanship.

From temple visits to family gatherings and traditional rituals, Rashmika and Vijay’s post-wedding journey has been marked by heartfelt moments and deep cultural ties.

Their visit to Thummanpet stood out as a particularly meaningful experience, highlighting the importance of staying connected to one’s roots.

As they step into this new chapter, their celebrations represent a harmonious blend of tradition and modern life — a reminder that shared values and community remain central even amid contemporary lifestyles.

Through these ceremonies, the couple has not only celebrated their union but also honored the traditions that continue to shape their journey forward.
