Taylor Frankie Paul’s Custody Case Takes a Major Turn After New Court Order

A Utah judge has ordered Taylor Frankie Paul to pass drug and alcohol tests before she can resume unsupervised parenting time with her children.

Reality television star and social media personality Taylor Frankie Paul has been given a new court order in her ongoing custody case with her former husband, Tate Paul. A judge in Utah has ruled that Taylor must first complete drug and alcohol testing before she can spend unsupervised time with their two children, Indy and Ocean. According to court documents, if her test results come back clean, she will be allowed to resume unsupervised parenting time. However, if the tests show alcohol or any drugs that were not legally prescribed to her, she will only be allowed supervised visits while the custody case continues.

The latest ruling comes after Tate Paul asked the court to take another look at an earlier decision. He had previously requested a temporary restraining order that would change the current custody arrangement, but the court initially denied that request. Tate later submitted additional material, including text messages and other documents, which he claimed raised concerns about Taylor’s recent treatment stay and whether she was able to safely care for their children. After reviewing the new information, the judge decided not to accept all of Tate’s claims. The court found that some of the allegations did not have enough evidence to support them. However, the judge did order Taylor to provide records related to her treatment if they are requested by the Department of Child and Family Services. This has now become one of the conditions in the ongoing legal process.

The court’s latest decision gives Taylor a clear opportunity to regain unsupervised time with her children. If she successfully meets the testing requirements and the results are clean, she will be allowed to spend time alone with Indy and Ocean again. If the tests do not meet the court’s conditions, supervised visits will continue until another hearing takes place. At that future hearing, the court will consider Tate’s request for a temporary restraining order and decide whether any further changes should be made to the custody arrangement.

Taylor Frankie Paul first became well known through her popular TikTok videos before joining the Hulu reality series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives. Her personal life, relationships and family struggles have become a major part of the show’s storyline, drawing widespread public attention. The custody dispute with Tate has also remained in the spotlight as new legal developments continue to emerge. It is important to note that the judge’s latest ruling is only a temporary order and does not decide the final outcome of the custody case. The legal battle is still ongoing, and more court hearings are expected in the coming weeks as both sides continue to present their arguments.
