Marvel fans in India are getting another chance to experience one of the biggest films in superhero history on the big screen. Marvel Studios is bringing Avengers Endgame back to cinemas with a special Avengers Endgame: Encore presentation. The film will release across India on September 25, 2026, in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
The return of Avengers Endgame is expected to give fans a chance to relive the emotional conclusion of Marvel’s Infinity Saga in theatres once again. The film originally brought together several of the Marvel Cinematic Universe’s biggest superheroes for a massive battle against Thanos and became one of the most successful films ever released.
This time, however, there is an additional reason for fans to watch the film on the big screen. Audiences will also get an exclusive sneak peek of Avengers: Doomsday, the next major Marvel Studios film. Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to arrive in theatres on December 18, 2026, making the Encore screening a special opportunity for fans who want an early glimpse of what is coming next in the MCU.
The special presentation will be available in IMAX as well as on screens certified under Marvel Studios Presents INFINITY VISION. This is a new certification for Premium Large Format theatres. The format is designed to provide audiences with a bigger and more immersive movie experience, featuring larger screens, brighter images and high quality sound.
Fans watching Avengers Endgame: Encore on IMAX and Marvel Studios Presents INFINITY VISION certified screens will receive the additional Avengers: Doomsday sneak peek. This gives audiences an extra reason to experience the film in theatres instead of simply watching it at home.
Avengers Endgame follows the remaining heroes after Thanos wipes out half of all life in the universe. The surviving Avengers are left dealing with the loss of their friends and loved ones. Eventually, they must find a way to come together once again and attempt to restore balance to the universe. Their journey leads to a major showdown with Thanos.
The film is produced by Kevin Feige and directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Michael Grillo, Trinh Tran, Jon Favreau, James Gunn and Stan Lee serve as executive producers.
For MCU fans, the return of Avengers Endgame comes at an important time as Marvel prepares to enter another major chapter. With Avengers: Doomsday arriving later in the year, the Encore presentation will allow audiences to revisit the story that changed the MCU while also getting a glimpse of its future.
