Battle of Galwan draws inspiration from the real-life Galwan Valley clash of June 15, 2020 a deadly confrontation between Indian and Chinese forces in Ladakh. Salman is reportedly portraying Colonel B Santosh Babu, the brave commanding officer of the 16 Bihar Regiment, who led his troops during the conflict and was posthumously honoured for his bravery.
