Over a year after her split from Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez continues to maintain a warm relationship with his children. The singer-actress was recently seen enjoying a casual shopping outing in Beverly Hills with her 17-year-old child, Emme, and Ben’s 13-year-old son, Samuel, whom he shares with ex-wife Jennifer Garner.
Lopez, 56, turned heads in a stylish white long-sleeved crop top paired with black trousers, stilettos, a baseball cap, and tinted sunglasses. She completed her chic look with a Christian Dior bag. During the shopping trip, JLo was seen helping Samuel pick out shoes before the group visited a Balenciaga store.
From Rekindled Romance to Divorce
Jennifer and Ben’s love story goes back to the early 2000s. They first got engaged in 2002 but called it off in 2004. After nearly two decades apart, they reunited in 2021, got engaged again in April 2022, and tied the knot in Las Vegas just two months later. However, their second chance at love didn’t last. Jennifer filed for divorce in August 2024, and it was finalized in February 2025.
A Focus on Career and Creativity
Post-divorce, Lopez has redirected her energy into her career. She’s currently on her global “Up All Night Tour: Live in 2025” and, according to sources, is loving every moment connecting with fans.
JLo is also preparing for the release of Kiss of the Spider Woman, a musical drama directed by Bill Condon, set to hit theatres on October 10. The film stars Diego Luna, Tonatiuh, and others. Lopez reportedly shot the film amid her divorce proceedings.
Additionally, she has two other projects in the pipeline: the romantic comedy Office Romance with Brett Goldstein and a feature adaptation of the bestselling novel The Last Mrs. Parrish.
