As Prime Minister Narendra Modi turned 75 years old, wishes flooded in from all over the Indian film world. Among the most prominent of the congratulations was one from Bollywood legend Shah Rukh Khan, who posted a heartfelt video message paying tribute to the Prime Minister’s rags-to-riches story and ceaseless efforts for the country.
Shah Rukh Khan’s Message of Respect
In a video posted on Wednesday, SRK expressed his appreciation for PM Modi in Hindi. “On the Prime Minister, Mr. Narendra Modi’s 75th birthday, I wish him very happy birthday,” he said. Shah Rukh appreciated PM’s rags-to-riches journey as a global leader, praising his discipline, hard work, and nationalism.
At 75, your energy and pace surpass even the young. I wish for your good health, strength, and continued happiness,” the actor said, recognising the Prime Minister’s tireless work ethic.
Bollywood Celebrities Extend Wishes
A few Bollywood celebrities too turned to social media to wish the Prime Minister. Akshay Kumar, Vicky Kaushal, Vikrant Massey, Anupam Kher, Kangana Ranaut, Hema Malini, and Kirron Kher were some of the numerous ones to extend their warm wishes to the Prime Minister, wishing him on his leadership and dedication to the country.
South Indian Film Industry Joins In
The Prime Minister also received South Indian cinema legends’ birthday wishes. Actor-politician Kamal Haasan posted on X (formerly Twitter), “Warmest birthday wishes to Hon’ble Prime Minister Thiru Narendra Modi avargal. Wishing him good health and strength in service of the people.”
Malayalam film superstar Mohanlal wrote on Twitter, “Wishing our Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji a very Happy Birthday.” Best wishes were sent by Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, Vijay Deverakonda, and Jr NTR, as well, making the moment a celebratory one for Indian cinema.
