Bhooth Bangla continued to perform steadily at the box office, earning Rs. 7.25 crore nett on Tuesday. This was an increase of nearly 20 per cent compared to Monday. The rise can be linked to discount offers, which often attract more people to theatres during weekdays. In terms of footfall, Tuesday saw a turnout similar to Friday, showing that the film is still drawing audiences even after the weekend has passed.
After five days in theatres, the total collection of the film stands at about Rs. 69.50 crore nett. This puts it just below the Rs. 70 crore mark. If the current trend continues, the film is expected to reach around Rs. 78 crore nett by the end of its first week. So far, the numbers indicate that the film has maintained a consistent performance without major drops.
Now, the focus shifts to Wednesday, which has become an important day to judge how a film is performing. Earlier, Monday collections were seen as the key indicator after the weekend. However, with discount offers pushing more viewers to theatres on Tuesdays, Wednesday collections now play a bigger role in understanding the trend. If Bhooth Bangla manages to earn more than Rs. 5 crore nett on Wednesday and continues to stay stable into the second Friday, it has a strong chance of being considered a hit.
Another positive sign for the film is that it has avoided a sharp drop in collections during weekdays. This sets it apart from Jolly LLB 3, which had a good weekend but saw a clear fall in numbers during the weekdays and did not recover after that.
In comparison, Bhooth Bangla matched Jolly LLB 3 on Friday and Saturday. It performed around 10 per cent better on Sunday and increased that lead to over 15 per cent on Monday. If this pattern continues, the film could see further gains in the coming days.
Looking at the daily figures, the film earned Rs. 3.50 crore from previews. It then collected Rs. 12.00 crore on Friday, Rs. 18.50 crore on Saturday, and Rs. 22.00 crore on Sunday. On Monday, it made Rs. 6.25 crore, followed by Rs. 7.25 crore on Tuesday. This brings the total to Rs. 69.50 crore nett so far.
