Dhurandhar 2 starring Ranveer Singh is proving to be a massive hit at the box office. After a powerful opening on day one, the film has continued to perform strongly on its second day as well. The excitement among audiences is still very high, and the film is showing no signs of slowing down.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film managed to stay steady even though it faced several delays and cancellations during its early shows. As per trade reports, the movie collected around Rs 97 crore by 10 pm on its second day. It is expected to cross the Rs 100 crore mark once again. With this, the total gross collection has reached nearly Rs 286.98 crore, while the net collection stands at about Rs 242.46 crore. Final figures are yet to come, but the film is clearly heading towards another big achievement.
On its opening day, Dhurandhar 2 made a strong impact by earning Rs 102.55 crore. This is almost four times more than the opening collection of its previous part, Dhurandhar, which had earned Rs 27 crore when it was released in December 2025.
The Hindi version played a major role in the film’s success, contributing more than Rs 99 crore on the first day itself. Other language versions such as Kannada and Malayalam collected smaller amounts due to technical issues and fewer available shows.
Even before the official release, the film had already created a lot of buzz. Paid preview shows brought in around Rs 43 crore from more than twelve thousand shows. However, these shows also faced some delays and cancellations.
Director Aditya Dhar shared a message for fans, saying that the film is very special to the entire team. He explained that they worked hard on it and wanted people to enjoy it together in different languages. He also informed viewers that some shows were delayed because of technical problems.
Despite these challenges, the audience response has been very positive. The film has even performed better on opening day compared to big films like Animal starring Ranbir Kapoor and Jawan starring Shah Rukh Khan.
With such a strong start and steady growth, Dhurandhar 2 is clearly on its way to becoming one of the biggest blockbusters in recent times.
