Poonam Pandey has once again come into the spotlight after sharing a surprising post on Instagram on March 31. In the pictures, she appears to show a baby bump. In one photo, she has slightly lifted her T shirt, while in the other, she keeps it down but still draws attention to her stomach. She did not add any written caption and only used emojis of a pregnant woman, a milk bottle and a baby.
Soon after the post was shared, many people reacted online. Some fans congratulated her, while others were confused and unsure about whether the news was real. One fan wrote, “Really ?” Another fan commented, “What ????? Seriously ????” One of the comments also read, “Hmmm but father kon hain.??” At the same time, many users questioned the authenticity of the pictures. Some people believed that the images could be created using artificial intelligence, while others felt it might be another publicity stunt. Comments such as “AI.” and “Another fake stunt.” were also seen.
This reaction is influenced by a past incident involving Poonam in 2024. On February 1, a post from her official Instagram account claimed that she had died due to cervical cancer. The news shocked many people. However, on February 2, she revealed that the news was not true and that it was part of a campaign to raise awareness about cervical cancer. Although she said it was done for a good cause, many people criticized her for using such a serious topic in this way.
Talking about her personal life, Poonam Pandey married her long time boyfriend Sam Ahmed Bombay in 2020. The wedding was kept private because of the COVID 19 pandemic. Soon after their marriage, she filed a complaint against him, accusing him of molestation, threats and assault. He was arrested in Goa after the incident, which reportedly took place in Canacona village while she was working on a film. The couple separated shortly after. Poonam later described the relationship as traumatic and said it led to her being hospitalised. She then moved ahead with divorce proceedings, citing severe physical abuse.
On the professional front, she was last seen in the reality show Lock Upp, hosted by Kangana Ranaut. The show was won by Munawar Faruqui.
