Alia Bhatt has caught the attention of social media users after a video from her close friend Akansha Ranjan Kapoor’s wedding celebrations surfaced online. The clip shows Alia helping the bride tie her kaleere during the chooda ceremony, a traditional pre wedding ritual. The video quickly gained traction online, with many people appreciating the simple and thoughtful moment shared between the two friends.

The video was shared by a fan page on X and shows Alia sitting next to Akansha while preparations for the ceremony are underway. In the clip, Alia can be seen carefully tying the traditional kaleere to Akansha’s chooda as family members and friends gather around them. For the ceremony, Alia wore a grey saree with a golden border and paired it with a matching sleeveless blouse. She completed her look with gold earrings, a maang tikka, dark sunglasses and a neatly tied bun. Akansha opted for a bright red saree along with a heavily embroidered golden blouse. The bride was seen smiling throughout the ceremony while spending time with her loved ones.

The video emerged a day after Akansha Ranjan Kapoor married filmmaker Sharan Sharma in an intimate wedding ceremony held at their Mumbai home. The wedding took place in the garden during sunset and was attended by close friends and family members. The date was especially meaningful for the couple as they got married on the same day they had started dating exactly 4 years ago.

Soon after the wedding, Akansha and Sharan shared their first official wedding pictures on Instagram. The photographs captured several moments from the ceremony, including the couple laughing together, holding hands, signing their wedding papers and spending time with family and friends.

Sharing the pictures, Akanksha wrote, “Tu na toh ghar ghar nahi lagta tu hain toh darr nahi lagta.”

Akansha is the younger sister of actor Anushka Ranjan. She is known for her work in films and web projects such as Guilty and Monica and O My Darling. Sharan Sharma made his directorial debut with Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl, starring Janhvi Kapoor.
