Robert Downey Jr has shared a small but interesting hint about the upcoming film Avengers Doomsday during Easter this year. He is best known for playing Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This time, however, he will not return as Iron Man. Instead, he will be seen playing Doctor Doom, which is a completely different role.
He shared this update through an Instagram post. In the image, Doctor Doom is shown holding a basket filled with Easter eggs. These eggs are designed with symbols that connect to different Marvel characters. This has given fans a chance to guess which characters might appear in the film.
Some of the symbols are easy to recognize. There is a blood covered shield linked to Captain America. There are also references to Spider Man and Black Panther. The Avengers logo is shown as a cracked egg. There are also hints related to the X Men and the Fantastic Four, although the Fantastic Four symbol appears crossed out. Other characters that seem to be included are Namor and Shang Chi.
One detail that caught attention is that there are two eggs connected to Spider Man. This has led fans to believe that more than one version of Spider Man could appear in the film.
The movie already has a large cast. Along with Robert Downey Jr, actors like Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Anthony Mackie, Sebastian Stan, Paul Rudd, Letitia Wright, Florence Pugh, Simu Liu and Tom Hiddleston are confirmed to be part of the film. Many other well known actors are also included, making it a very large project.
Avengers Doomsday is expected to release in Indian theatres on 18th December 2026. The teaser has increased curiosity among fans, as they are trying to understand how all these characters will come together in the story.
