Selena Gomez celebrated her 33rd birthday on Monday with love, laughter, and a powerful message. Her fiancé, music producer Benny Blanco, marked the occasion in a heartwarming and humorous way by sharing candid photos of Gomez peacefully sleeping in different settings—from cozy blankets to travel naps.

“our life is a dream… so i’m never waking u up… happy birthday my love,” Blanco, 37, captioned the post. The photos quickly went viral, with fans calling it “the most boyfriend thing ever,” and praising the couple’s sweet and playful bond.

A Birthday with Purpose: Rare Impact Fund Turns 5
While Blanco’s tribute brought smiles, Gomez used her birthday to highlight a cause close to her heart—mental health. She celebrated the fifth anniversary of her Rare Impact Fund, which she launched in 2020 to provide mental health support to young people around the world.

Posting a photo of herself holding a cake decorated with pickle-shaped candles, Gomez shared, “Mental health has always been deeply personal to me. I wanted to build something that could create lasting change.”

Over the past five years, the Rare Impact Fund has supported 30 organizations and impacted more than 2 million youth globally. To commemorate this milestone, Gomez introduced a new initiative—The Rare Impact Fund Giving Circle—which invites individuals to pool resources and support community-based mental health efforts.

“It’s about believing in the power of community to create lasting change,” she wrote. “This is what rare impact looks like.”

In a statement to PEOPLE, Gomez added, “I’m proud of what we’ve achieved together and excited for what’s next—including The Giving Circle and more transformative projects ahead.”
