Aneet Padda’s Big Break: From Saiyaara to Shakti Shalini!

The Real Reason Behind Kiara Advani's Replacement in Shakti Shalini!

Riding high on the success of her debut film Saiyaara, actress Aneet Padda is all set to make a powerful return with a lead role in Shakti Shalini, the newest addition to the Maddock Horror Comedy Universe. Slated for release on December 24, 2026, the film casts Aneet in the titular role of Shakti Shalini — a mystical force described as “the creator, the destroyer, and the mother of all.” Industry insiders suggest that the role is set to be one of the most complex and layered female characters in the genre, with Aneet undergoing rigorous training for the physical and emotional demands of the part.

Directed by Amar Kaushik, known for Stree and Bhediya, Shakti Shalini continues Maddock Films’ successful streak of horror comedies that blend mythology, folklore, and humour. The film’s announcement has already sparked immense buzz online, positioning Aneet as one of Bollywood’s rising stars to watch.

Meanwhile, filmmaker Abhinav Kashyap has once again stirred controversy with fresh allegations against Salman Khan and his family. In a no-holds-barred interview with Bollywood Thikana, Kashyap called Salman Khan “insecure” and accused him of sabotaging his brother Arbaaz Khan’s role in the 2010 blockbuster Dabangg. “Salman reduced Arbaaz’s role significantly,” Kashyap claimed, adding that tensions ran so high on set that the brothers had a major argument. He further alleged that Salman “hates” Arbaaz, a statement that has reignited discussions around the actor’s influence in the industry and his relationships within his own family. Neither Salman nor Arbaaz has responded publicly to the claims so far.

In other major news, the investigation into the death of musician Zubeen Garg has taken an international turn. A two-member Special Investigation Team (SIT) from Assam Police’s CID unit has reached Singapore to coordinate with local authorities. Led by Special DGP (CID) Munna Prasad Gupta, the team arrived on Monday, October 20 and is scheduled to meet the Singapore Police Force on Tuesday. The visit is expected to accelerate the probe into the circumstances surrounding Garg’s sudden and tragic death, which shocked fans across the country.

With high-stakes developments unfolding in both Bollywood and real-life investigations, the coming weeks promise further revelations and headlines.
