After a prolonged absence from the public eye, Babil Khan, son of the late actor Irrfan Khan, has returned to Instagram, sharing a deeply emotional and cryptic post about his battle with depression and emotional turmoil. His comeback comes more than four months after a video of his emotional breakdown went viral in May, drawing widespread attention and concern.

In his latest Instagram post on October 7, Babil shared a series of striking images from a recent photoshoot. Dressed in a red sweater and holding a flower between his teeth, the visuals were accompanied by a raw, poetic caption that spoke volumes. The poem touched on themes of vulnerability, emotional exhaustion, insomnia, and depression. “I wore my heart on my sleeves, now I have blood-soaked t-shirts… I was crying out for help, I couldn’t stifle my expression,” he wrote, offering a rare and honest glimpse into his mental health journey.

Babil’s post resonated with fans and peers alike. Fellow actors like Vijay Varma and Gulshan Devaiah welcomed him back with warmth and support. Varma wrote, “Babil we got your back,” while Devaiah added, “Look who’s here,” reflecting the industry’s encouragement during his healing process. Fans flooded the comment section with messages of strength and admiration for his courage.

Babil had previously made headlines in May when a video surfaced on Reddit showing him in a vulnerable state, criticizing the film industry and naming celebrities like Ananya Panday, Arjun Kapoor, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and others. The video sparked controversy, but Babil later clarified that his words were taken out of context. In a follow-up post, he explained that he was, in fact, expressing support for the actors he mentioned, including Ananya Panday, Shanaya Kapoor, Adarsh Gourav, and Raghav Juyal.

Following the backlash, Babil briefly deactivated his Instagram account. He also announced his departure from a project with director Sai Rajesh, citing “unforeseen circumstances” as the reason for their professional split.

On the same day as his Instagram return, Babil was spotted at Mumbai airport, marking his first public appearance since the viral breakdown. Fans noticed his calm and composed demeanor, calling it a “grounded comeback.” While the road hasn’t been easy, Babil’s return reflects a quiet strength and a willingness to face his struggles head-on — an act of resilience that continues to inspire many.
