Did Prakash Raj Quit Prabhas’ Spirit? Actor Finally Breaks Silence on Explosive Rumours!

Prakash Raj shuts down rumours of quitting Prabhas’ Spirit after reports of creative differences surface online.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s much-anticipated film Spirit has been surrounded by intense buzz since production began, and the latest rumours have only amplified curiosity around the project. After an earlier casting shift that saw Deepika Padukone being replaced by Triptii Dimri as Prabhas’ leading lady, fresh speculation suggested that veteran actor Prakash Raj had also exited the film.

Reports that surfaced on Sunday claimed that creative differences had emerged on set. According to the circulating rumours, Prakash Raj was allegedly dissatisfied with the execution of a particular scene and certain portions of the script. This reportedly led to whispers that the seasoned actor had walked out of the film, fuelling online chatter about possible turbulence behind the scenes.

However, Prakash Raj has now categorically denied these claims. When contacted by HT City, the actor dismissed the reports outright, stating, “Some nonsense speculations these are. I am not aware of it.” He also confirmed that he remains very much a part of Spirit, effectively putting an end to the walkout rumours.

Interestingly, the official sound story of Spirit, released by the makers in October last year, prominently featured Prakash Raj’s voiceover — a clear indication of his involvement in the project. His continued association signals stability amid the swirl of speculation surrounding the film.

Spirit is billed as one of the most ambitious ventures of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s career and marks his first collaboration with pan-India star Prabhas. The film is expected to present Prabhas in a never-seen-before avatar, tapping into darker and more intense emotional layers. When the first look was unveiled in December, it sparked widespread discussion for its gritty, raw tone — a style synonymous with Vanga’s storytelling.

The project also features Vivek Oberoi in a key role and is reportedly mounted on a grand scale, blending high-octane action with psychological drama. Industry insiders suggest the film will explore complex emotional terrain, much like Vanga’s earlier works, but on a significantly larger canvas.

Despite being in its early production phase, Spirit has already become one of the most talked-about upcoming releases. With Prakash Raj shutting down exit rumours, the film appears firmly on track — and anticipation continues to build for what promises to be a massive cinematic event.
