120 Bahadur, which hit theatres on November 21, has emerged as one of 2025’s most anticipated military dramas. The film marks Farhan Akhtar’s powerful return to the big screen as Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, the heroic officer who was posthumously awarded the Param Vir Chakra for his extraordinary bravery during the 1962 Sino-Indian War. While audiences are applauding Farhan’s commanding on-screen performance, the actor is also winning hearts off-screen with his latest charismatic look.
In a recent post, Farhan Akhtar is seen posing outdoors in a sharply tailored black suit paired with a crisp white shirt and formal tie. His clean-shaven avatar, along with a neatly groomed hairstyle, added to the sophistication of his appearance. The images quickly caught the attention of fans and celebrities alike. His wife, Shibani Dandekar, was among the first to react, dropping heart-eyed emojis and writing, “You are just ,” capturing the sentiment shared by many admirers.
Ahead of the film’s release, Farhan Akhtar organised a special screening of 120 Bahadur in Delhi, attended by several senior Indian Army officials. Sharing images from the event, the actor expressed his gratitude and pride, calling it an honour to present the film to those who have dedicated their lives to the nation. “A proud moment as General Upendra Dwivedi, PVSM, AVSM, Brigadiers, Major Generals, Army officers and their families joined us for a special screening of 120 Bahadur in Delhi,” he wrote.
Directed by Razneesh Ghai and produced by Excel Entertainment and Trigger Happy Studios, 120 Bahadur revisits the historic Battle of Rezang La—one of the most defining moments of the 1962 Sino-Indian War. On November 18, 1962, 120 soldiers from Charlie Company of the 13 Kumaon Regiment, comprised entirely of Ahir troops, held their ground against an estimated 3,000 Chinese soldiers. Their extraordinary resistance inflicted over 1,300 casualties on enemy forces, despite overwhelming odds.
The film centres on Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, whose leadership and sacrifice became symbolic of unmatched courage. Alongside Farhan, Raashii Khanna stars as Shagun Kanwar, the wife of the celebrated officer.
