Actor Mandana Karimi has shared a deeply personal health update with her fans, revealing that she was recently hospitalised due to exhaustion, dehydration, and stress. Taking to Instagram on Tuesday, the Thar actor posted photos from a hospital bed along with a heartfelt note, opening up about the toll her relentless work schedule has taken on her physical and mental well-being.
In her emotional post, Mandana wrote, “I’ve been on the move for months — nonstop flights, events, late nights, meetings, chasing deadlines and dreams. The boss-lady energy has been real. But on Friday, my body said, ‘not today.’ What I feared was my last heartbeat turned out to be exhaustion, dehydration, and stress disguised as something far scarier.”
She went on to share that after undergoing a series of tests and scans, doctors reassured her that her heart and body were physically fine. However, the incident served as a wake-up call. “I’ve been running on adrenaline, ignoring its whispers, waiting until it had to scream,” she admitted. Watching the echo of her own heartbeat, Mandana felt a wave of gratitude. “Thank you for holding me when I push too far. Thank you for forgiving me when I forget to slow down,” she wrote.
The actor, known for her honesty and vulnerability, concluded her post with a powerful message about self-care. “This post is my reminder, and maybe yours too, that strength isn’t just about powering through. It’s also about pausing. It’s about honouring the body that carries us through everything, even when we don’t always show it grace. To my heart, to my body: I see you. I appreciate you. I promise to take better care.”
Mandana’s post resonated with fans and followers, who flooded the comments with messages of love and encouragement. “Take care, rest well, and get well soon, you awesome woman,” wrote one user. Another said, “Always be blissful and the best version of yourself, dii. Always a superwoman.” A third added, “Get better soon… you’re stronger than you know.”
On the professional front, Mandana was last seen in the 2022 Netflix film Thar. In recent years, she has taken a step back from acting, focusing instead on her personal growth and well-being. Her latest health scare serves as a poignant reminder of the importance of rest, balance, and listening to one’s body.
