With Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups inching closer to its grand theatrical release on March 19, 2026, the makers are steadily unveiling pieces of its dark, high-stakes universe. The latest reveal has sent excitement soaring, as the team dropped a powerful first-look poster introducing Nayanthara as Ganga—one of the film’s most commanding and intriguing characters yet.
The newly released visual showcases Nayanthara in a stunningly fierce avatar. Armed with a gun and exuding unshakeable confidence, she commands the frame with effortless authority. Her composed yet intimidating presence instantly establishes Ganga as a woman who thrives in danger and control. Set against the lavish backdrop of a grand casino entrance, the poster blends opulence with menace, framing her as elegant, fearless and unapologetically lethal.
Renowned for her versatility, emotional intensity and box-office pull, Nayanthara has long been celebrated as one of Indian cinema’s most influential performers. With Toxic, she steps into a darker, more layered space—embracing a role that enhances her magnetic screen presence while revealing a bold and unfamiliar edge. Her inclusion further strengthens expectations for what is being touted as Rocking Star Yash’s most ambitious and unconventional project so far.
After redefining box-office benchmarks with KGF: Chapter 2, Yash returns with Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, a film that promises to break away from formula-driven storytelling. Each character reveal has deepened intrigue surrounding the narrative. Earlier, Kiara Advani sparked massive curiosity with her reveal as Nadia—a character marked by elegance, sorrow and hidden scars. This was followed by Huma Qureshi’s dramatic unveiling as Elizabeth, whose enigmatic presence and old-world Gothic glamour added mystery to the film’s tone.
