The makers of director Buchi Babu Sana’s highly anticipated action drama Peddi, starring Ram Charan in the lead, unveiled the first look of Janhvi Kapoor on Saturday, introducing her as Achiyyamma. The announcement, made through the film’s official social media handles, was accompanied by two captivating posters that showcased Janhvi in a fierce, confident, and fiery avatar.
Sharing the posters, the team wrote, “Our #Peddi’s love with a firebrand attitude. Presenting the gorgeous #JanhviKapoor as #Achiyyamma. #PEDDI GLOBAL RELEASE ON 27th MARCH, 2026.” In one image, Janhvi is seen standing atop a jeep with her hands folded above her head, exuding grace and strength. In another, she strikes a powerful pose with one hand resting on her head, embodying the spirit of a bold and determined woman.
Currently being shot in Sri Lanka, Peddi has already created major buzz nationwide. Choreographer Jani Master, who is crafting the film’s dance sequences, recently praised Ram Charan’s commitment, calling his effort “absolutely phenomenal.” Sharing a behind-the-scenes photo with the actor on X (formerly Twitter), he wrote, “We will cherish this time with my most favourite person, hero @AlwaysRamCharan Anna, and talented director @BuchiBabuSana garu.
