Ranveer Singh’s upcoming action-thriller ‘Dhurandhar’ has found itself in the spotlight—not just for its high-octane premise, but for a behind-the-scenes photo that went viral online. The image, featuring a Pakistani flag on the set, triggered mixed reactions on social media, with some calling it controversial while others defended its context.

Netizens Clash Over Flag Controversy

The viral photo sparked a wave of reactions on Twitter (X), where some users questioned the display of the Pakistani flag in an Indian film. “Pakistan ka flag kyu lagya? Who allowed for it?” one user wrote, while another commented, “Bollywood has lost it completely.”

However, fans and cinema enthusiasts quickly came to the film’s defense, pointing out that ‘Dhurandhar’ is reportedly based on real-life intelligence missions conducted by Indian spies in Pakistan. One user stated, “It must be to depict a scene set in Pakistan. Obviously, they aren’t shooting there.” Another echoed, “They’re trying to show the Pakistani location. It’s not promoting anything.”

Ranveer Singh to Play an Undercover Spy

Although the plot remains under wraps, sources suggest that Ranveer Singh is portraying an undercover Indian agent operating in hostile territory. The film aims to showcase the bravery of Indian intelligence operatives, with the Pakistani setting integral to the storyline.
