Though the couple hasn’t shared the story behind the name, many believe “Saraayah” may be inspired by the Hebrew name “Sarah,” meaning “princess,” making the choice both meaningful and symbolic. Kiara and Sidharth first announced their daughter’s birth on July 15, writing, “Our hearts are full and our world forever changed. We are blessed with a baby girl.” Shortly after, they requested privacy, asking paparazzi not to photograph the newborn. In a second note, they expressed gratitude for the love they received and added, “As we take our first steps into this new journey of parenthood, we hope to enjoy it intimately as a family… No photos please, only blessings.”
The couple, who tied the knot in a dreamy ceremony in Jaisalmer in 2023, have long been a fan-favorite pair. Their on-screen chemistry in the 2021 war drama Shershaah played a significant role in endearing them to audiences and eventually brought them closer in real life.
