This  Is  Not  Coverage,  It’s  Disrespect!’ Amitabh  Bachchan  On  Dharmendra Health Media Circus — See The Viral Post!

You Should Be Ashamed!’ Amitabh Bachchan To Paparazzi Over Dharmendra Video Leak — Exclusive Details Inside!

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan has stirred discussion online after posting a cryptic yet pointed remark that appeared to echo the growing criticism of paparazzi and certain media outlets for their intrusive coverage of veteran actor Dharmendra’s recent health scare. Dharmendra, 89, was hospitalised at Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital and later discharged, but the media frenzy around his condition has sparked intense debate about press ethics and celebrity privacy.

Taking to his X handle, Amitabh wrote a short but impactful message: “no ethics .. no ethics at all.” The post immediately caught attention, with social media users linking his comment to the backlash surrounding the paparazzi’s aggressive behaviour during Dharmendra’s hospitalisation.

This wasn’t Amitabh’s first remark on the matter. Earlier, in a blog post, he expressed strong disapproval without naming anyone. He wrote, “No ethics … no sense of responsibility … just an avenue of personal gain, without any consideration of the moment… Disturbing and disgusting.” Fans interpreted this as a clear reference to media outlets that were accused of crossing boundaries while covering the Deol family’s difficult time.

The Indian Film and Television Directors’ Association (IFTDA) has taken concrete action, lodging a formal police complaint against specific paparazzi photographers and online platforms. IFTDA President Ashoke Pandit, in a letter to the Senior Inspector of Juhu Police Station, stated that some individuals “breached privacy” by entering Dharmendra’s residence premises and recording visuals of family members without consent—material that was later widely circulated on social media. The association has urged strict legal action to set a precedent for respecting celebrity privacy.

In addition to Amitabh, several industry figures have expressed solidarity with the Deol family. Filmmaker Karan Johar took to Instagram, criticising what he described as a “media circus” around Dharmendra’s illness and calling out the lack of “courtesy and sensitivity” during such an emotional moment. Director Madhur Bhandarkar echoed the sentiment, urging the media to allow the family “the peaceful space they truly need.”

The intense media coverage also pushed Sunny Deol to confront paparazzi who gathered outside his home after Dharmendra’s discharge, visibly frustrated by their persistence.

As conversations around media ethics intensify, Amitabh’s sharp remark has only amplified calls for responsible reporting—especially in moments that demand empathy over sensationalism.
