Vijay Deverakonda is all set to reshape his action-hero image with Kingdom, a gritty spy thriller that plunges deep into the world of espionage, betrayal, and personal transformation. The highly awaited trailer, launched in Tirupati and later shared online by Vijay himself, offers a compelling glimpse into the turbulent life of secret agent Surya — a role that pushes him to his physical and emotional limits.
“We created #Kingdom with passion in our hearts,” Vijay wrote on social media. Directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, the film promises a thrilling blend of explosive action and heartfelt drama.
A Mission Gone Wrong
In Kingdom, Surya embarks on a high-stakes covert mission that quickly unravels, leading to a catastrophic failure. Captured and imprisoned, he unexpectedly forms connections with the very people he was sent to eliminate. The trailer teases a complex journey of betrayal, introspection, and redemption as Surya wrestles with both internal conflicts and external enemies.
