Yash’s Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups has finalized its Tamil Nadu distribution at a ₹63 crore advance on a commission basis, positioning it among the largest recent deals in the territory and indicating strong trade confidence ahead of release.
The film will adopt a multi-distributor rollout across Tamil Nadu to maximize reach. Chennai City will be handled by Think Studios (Swarup Reddy), Chengalpet by White Nights (Trident Ravi), while Coimbatore, North & South Arcot, Tirunelveli, and Kanyakumari will be distributed by S Picture Srinivasan. The Madurai & Ramnad, Trichy & Thanjavur, and Salem circuits will be managed by 5 Star Senthil.
Trade insiders attribute the scale of the deal to Yash’s sustained box-office pull in Tamil Nadu post the success of K.G.F: Chapter 2, which significantly strengthened his market standing in the state.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas and co-written with Yash, Toxic has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with dubbed versions planned across major Indian languages. Produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations, the film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
The ensemble cast features Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth, and Tara Sutaria in key roles.
