Dhurandhar The Revenge takes a clear direction as a sequel. Instead of focusing on emotions, it chooses to go bigger with action, speed, and intensity. From the very beginning, the film sets a fast pace and sticks to it till the end.
The story starts by showing the past of the main character Hamza, played by Ranveer Singh. We learn that he was once Jaskirat Singh Rangi, which adds some depth to his character. However, the film does not spend much time on emotions and quickly moves into its main action driven plot.
Most of the cast from the first film returns, which helps the story feel connected. A brief moment involving Akshaye Khanna also links the story to the earlier part. After that, the film moves at a very fast pace with almost no breaks.
The film avoids romance or family drama and focuses completely on its main goal. This keeps the audience engaged as there is always something happening on screen. One interesting touch is the use of old 90s songs in the background during intense scenes. This contrast adds a fun and nostalgic feel.
Visually, the film looks strong and well designed. The action scenes are fast and quite intense, even more than the first part. While the violence may not be for everyone, it adds to the film’s bold style.
Apart from Ranveer, Sanjay Dutt and Arjun Rampal play important roles, though their characters could have been explored more. R Madhavan and Manav Gohil also stand out despite limited screen time.
Overall, Dhurandhar The Revenge focuses on being fast, exciting, and entertaining. It may not be emotional, but it delivers a strong and engaging experience.
