Life is imitating art for Emily in Paris stars Ashley Park and Paul Forman, as the actors have reportedly ended their off-screen romance—just like their characters, Mindy and Nico, did in Season 4 of the Netflix hit. PEOPLE has confirmed the split, though neither star nor their representatives have publicly commented.
Rumors about their relationship first surfaced in October 2023 when the two were spotted holding hands. However, it wasn’t until January 2024 that they officially confirmed they were a couple. Their bond was further highlighted earlier this year when Park suffered a serious medical emergency while abroad.
In an emotional Instagram post, Park opened up about her health scare and expressed deep gratitude to Forman for being by her side. “You calmed my fears and held me through ambulances, three foreign hospitals, a week in the ICU, scary ERs, countless scans and tests and injections, excruciating pain, and so much confusion,” she wrote. “I love you Paul. More than I can ever say.” The post featured tender moments of Forman comforting her in the hospital.
Despite their breakup, there appears to be mutual respect. At the Season 4 premiere in August 2024, held at the Egyptian Theatre in Los Angeles, Forman praised Park. “She’s so generous, so supportive… As a fellow castmate, I’m so lucky to be working with her — our relationship aside,” he said.
