Netflix has officially announced Hello Bachhon, a new drama series headlined by Viineet Kumar Siingh, as part of its Next On Netflix India 2026 slate. The streaming giant also unveiled the first teaser at its recent showcase event, offering a glimpse into a deeply rooted, real-life-inspired story that places education, ambition, and social change at its heart.
Inspired by the true journey behind the widely recognised education platform Physics Wallah, Hello Bachhon chronicles the rise of an unassuming physics teacher whose unwavering belief in accessible learning goes on to impact millions of students across India. Beginning in modest classrooms, the series traces his transformation into a figure who challenges the dominance of an exam-driven, commercially fuelled education system that often excludes those from underprivileged backgrounds.
Rather than presenting a conventional success story, Hello Bachhon positions itself as a character-led, emotionally grounded drama. At its core lies the power of belief and persistence—values that drive the protagonist to push back against entrenched norms.
