Taylor Swift is giving fans one final, heartfelt look at her record-breaking Eras Tour through a new docuseries and concert film, both premiering on Disney+ on December 12. The six-part series, titled The End of an Era, will release two episodes weekly, offering behind-the-scenes insight into the final leg of her global phenomenon. Alongside it, a concert film titled The Eras Tour | The Final Show, filmed at Vancouver’s BC Place, will debut the same day, capturing the last show in its entirety.

“It was the End of an Era and we knew it,” Swift shared on Instagram. “We wanted to remember every moment… and to film the final show in its entirety.”

From March 2023 to December 2024, the Eras Tour spanned 149 shows across five continents and grossed over $2 billion, cementing its place as the highest-grossing tour in history. The marathon concert featured songs from nearly every Swift album, including tracks from her 2024 release The Tortured Poets Department.

This isn’t Swift’s first venture into cinematic concert experiences. In 2023, she released Taylor Swift: The Eras Tour, which went on to become the highest-grossing concert film of all time, earning $267 million worldwide before landing on Disney+.

Swift also hinted that The End of an Era might chronicle the creative process behind her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, which she began crafting during the tour. Despite mixed critical reception, the album shattered records, including the largest single-week sales in U.S. history.

As Taylor Swift wraps up her iconic Eras chapter, fans eagerly anticipate one final tribute to the tour that redefined live music and reaffirmed her status as a global pop powerhouse.
