The actors shared a series of intimate black and white photographs while celebrating their daughter Dua Padukone Singh’s second birthday. The special occasion brought the family together for some emotional moments, with the pictures offering a glimpse of Deepika, Ranveer and their little daughter. In one of the photos, Ranveer can be seen standing close to Deepika and gently holding her baby bump. The couple smile at each other with their foreheads touching. Deepika and Ranveer welcomed their first child, daughter Dua Padukone Singh, on September 8, 2024. Since then, they have maintained a private approach towards her life and have largely kept her away from public attention. Earlier this year, the couple announced Deepika’s second pregnancy through a joint Instagram post featuring Dua. In the picture, their daughter was seen holding a pregnancy test showing two pink lines while Deepika and Ranveer gently held her hands. Deepika accompanied the announcement with evil eye emojis. Deepika and Ranveer tied the knot in 2018 after dating for several years.
Despite her pregnancy, Deepika has continued with her professional commitments. She will next be seen in Siddharth Anand’s King alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan. She is also part of Atlee’s sci fi action film Raaka, which stars Allu Arjun. Reports have claimed that the actress continued shooting portions of Raaka during her pregnancy. Ranveer, meanwhile, has started work on Pralay and is currently filming the project in Mumbai.
