Hanuman Ansh box office: Rs. 299 crore reached as Rs. 300 crore milestone gets closer

Hanuman Ansh collected Rs. 2 crore on 8th Wednesday, taking its India cume to Rs. 299 crore and its 8th week total to Rs. 24.75 crore in 6 days.

Hanuman Ansh continued its strong run at the Indian box office on its 8th Wednesday by collecting Rs. 2 crore nett. The devotional drama recorded a 27 per cent drop from the previous day, but the latest collection was enough to take its 8th week total to Rs. 24.75 crore in 6 days. With Thursday and Friday still left in the week, the film is currently expected to finish its 8th week with around Rs. 26 to 27 crore nett.

The overall India collection of Hanuman Ansh has now reached Rs. 299 crore nett. The film is just Rs. 1 crore away from entering the Rs. 300 crore club. If the current pace continues, it could reach the milestone by the end of today. The number becomes more notable when compared with its opening day, when Hanuman Ansh collected just Rs. 10 lakh. The film has since continued to attract audiences and record strong collections well into its eighth week.

Hanuman Ansh saw its biggest growth several weeks after its release. The film collected Rs. 0.90 cr. in Week One and Rs. 0.50 cr. in Week Two before showing a major jump from Week Three. It collected Rs. 10.35 cr. in Week Three, followed by Rs. 58.25 cr. in Week Four. Week Five brought in Rs. 84.75 cr., while Week Six added Rs. 76.75 cr. The film then collected Rs. 42.75 cr. in Week Seven.

The film has also maintained a strong pace during its 8th week. It collected Rs. 3.00 cr. on Friday, Rs. 6.50 cr. on Saturday and Rs. 8.50 cr. on Sunday. Hanuman Ansh then added Rs. 2.00 cr. on Monday, Rs. 2.75 cr. on Tuesday and Rs. 2.00 cr. on Wednesday. These numbers have taken the 8th week total to Rs. 24.75 crore in 6 days.

Hanuman Ansh could eventually finish its theatrical run around Rs. 350 crore nett, although its final total will depend on the response over the coming weekend. The film will also face competition from Drishyam: The Conclusion, making its performance over the next few days important for its final box office run.
