The actor attended the premiere at the AMC Lincoln Square Theater wearing a custom white gown by French fashion house Matières Fécales. Inspired by an angelic theme, the outfit combined dramatic design with elegant details and stood out on the red carpet.
The floor length white gown featured an asymmetrical strapless neckline that gave it a modern look. The most eye catching part of the outfit was the pair of large angel wings attached to the back of the dress. The gown also had a long feather inspired train that flowed behind her as she walked, adding a graceful touch. Zendaya completed the look with white pointed toe pumps that featured sculptural heels, giving a fresh twist to a classic style.
To keep the focus on the gown, Zendaya chose simple styling. She wore her hair in a loose fishtail braid that fell down her back, with a few soft strands framing her face. Her makeup was natural and fresh, while long floral inspired diamond earrings from Chopard added sparkle to the overall look. Earlier in the day, Zendaya was also spotted leaving her New York hotel in another elegant outfit. She wore a flowing nude Grecian style gown by Pamela Rolland. According to a press release, the outfit was described as “an antique gold pleated silk chiffon Grecian gown from the Fall 2026 Runway Collection.” The soft fabric and flowing design gave the dress a timeless and elegant appearance.
Zendaya has been matching her outfits to the theme of The Odyssey throughout the film’s promotional events. On Monday, July 13, she stepped out in a white Alberta Ferretti Spring Summer 2008 dress featuring gold embellishments. She completed the look with Sophia Webster gladiator high heels and styled her natural curls into a short curly bob.
In Christopher Nolan’s adaptation of The Odyssey, Zendaya plays Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and war, while Tom Holland plays Telemachus. Holland recently confirmed that the couple are now married.
Based on the famous epic poem by Homer, The Odyssey tells the story of King Odysseus as he makes his way home after spending 10 years at war. The poem is believed to have been written between 750 and 850 BC and has been translated into English more than 100 times. The Odyssey is scheduled to release in theatres on July 17.
