Searchlight Pictures has unveiled the official teaser trailer and poster for Behemoth!, the upcoming drama written and directed by Academy Award nominee Tony Gilroy. The film stars Pedro Pascal in a completely different role from the ones audiences have seen him play before. Behemoth! is set to release in cinemas across India through Searchlight Pictures.
The story follows Alex Serian, played by Pedro Pascal, a talented cellist whose life has been shaped by music. After spending 20 years travelling for his career, Alex returns to his hometown of Los Angeles. Music has always been the biggest part of his life, but returning home opens the door to a new chapter. As he reconnects with his past, he finds himself on an emotional and life changing journey that transforms him in unexpected ways.
The film has been written and directed by Tony Gilroy, the filmmaker known for acclaimed projects such as Star Wars: Andor and Michael Clayton. With Behemoth!, Gilroy tells a story that focuses on personal growth, relationships and the impact of music on a person’s life. Pedro Pascal leads the film in what is being described as one of the most unique roles of his career.
Along with Pedro Pascal, the film features an ensemble cast that includes Olivia Wilde, Eva Victor, Alexa Swinton, Kaya Ralls, Erik Griffin, JoBeth Williams, Margarita Levieva, Hank Azaria and Will Arnett. The film has been produced by Tony Gilroy, Sanne Wohlenberg and John Gilroy. Sanne Wohlenberg has previously worked on Star Wars: Andor and Chernobyl, while John Gilroy has also been associated with Star Wars: Andor.
With the teaser and poster now released, audiences have got their first look at Behemoth! and Pedro Pascal’s new character. The film will release in cinemas across India through Searchlight Pictures.
