JISOO has entered a new phase of her solo career with “CLICK,” a romantic pop song about two people from completely different worlds who unexpectedly find a connection. Released through Warner Records, the song looks at how some relationships can develop naturally without needing an explanation.
The music video takes the song into a futuristic world. Directed by Joseph Kahn, who has worked with artists including Taylor Swift, Britney Spears and Eminem, the video features JISOO as a cyborg living alone in an abandoned theme park.
JISOO’s character spends her days taking care of the deserted park. She checks tickets, cleans the pathways and continues with her routine even though there is almost no one around. Her life changes when she discovers a damaged robotic teddy bear.
Instead of leaving the bear behind, JISOO repairs it and brings it back to life. Their friendship gradually brings life back to the forgotten theme park. Together, they reconnect with other abandoned toys and turn the empty location into a place filled with activity, music and companionship.
The robotic teddy bear, known as the CLICK Bear, has a deeper meaning in the video. It represents JISOO’s fans from different parts of the world. Although fans may speak different languages and live completely different lives, music gives them something they can share.
The CLICK Bear stays close to JISOO throughout the video, representing the connection between the singer and her fans. The story shows how reaching out and finding someone who responds can change even the loneliest situation.
“CLICK” arrives after a busy period for JISOO. She recently appeared on the cover of V Magazine and starred in the Netflix romantic comedy series Boyfriend on Demand. BLACKPINK also released the DEADLINE EP after completing their Deadline World Tour in January.
Before CLICK, JISOO released “EYES CLOSED,” a collaboration with ZAYN. The song reached the Top 10 of the Billboard Global Excl. US chart, No. 20 on the Global 200 and No. 72 on the Hot 100.
JISOO began her solo career in 2023 with the EP ME. Its popular track “꽃(FLOWER)” reached No. 2 on the Billboard Global 200 and No. 1 on the Global Excl. US chart.
Her 2025 mini album AMORTAGE featured “earthquake” and “Your Love.” With “CLICK,” JISOO continues exploring her solo identity while focusing on themes of love, connection and the relationship between an artist and her audience.
