The wait for Lust Stories 3 is almost over. Netflix has released the trailer for the third edition of its International Emmy® nominated anthology series. The new season brings together four filmmakers, Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj. Each director tells a different story that looks at love, relationships, desire and the problems that can arise when emotions become complicated.
Unlike a regular series that follows one storyline, Lust Stories 3 brings four separate stories together. Each story has its own characters, setting and mood, but they all explore the way people deal with love, attraction, choices and emotions. The trailer gives viewers a glimpse of the different situations that form the centre of these stories.
The anthology features a large ensemble cast that includes Radhika Apte, Konkona Sen Sharma, Aditi Rao Hydari, Radhika Madan, Sana Thampi, Vijay Varma, Abhishek Banerjee, Siddharth, Ali Fazal and Gurfateh Pirzada. The actors play characters who find themselves dealing with relationships that are not always simple or easy to understand.
The trailer shows several emotional and unexpected situations. Some scenes have humour and chemistry, while others focus on difficult choices and personal emotions. The stories appear to explore what people want from relationships, what they may choose to hide and how their decisions can affect those around them.
The four stories also give each filmmaker an opportunity to bring their own style to the anthology. Vikramaditya Motwane, Kiran Rao, Shakun Batra and Vishal Bhardwaj approach the subject of relationships from different perspectives, giving the season four distinct worlds.
