Bhooth Bangla brings back Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan, but the result feels outdated and repetitive. The film follows a haunted haveli setup with a wedding backdrop, but the story quickly turns into a loud mix of horror and comedy without strong direction.
While there are a few funny moments in the first half, most of the humour feels forced and similar to older films. Akshay Kumar’s comic timing works in parts, but his character feels like a repeat of his past roles. His pairing with Wamiqa Gabbi does not add much to the story.
Actors like Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav fall back on familiar styles, but the writing does not support them. The biggest issue is the weak script, which feels like random scenes put together without proper logic or flow.
Overall, Bhooth Bangla feels too long and lacks freshness, making it easy to skip in theatres.
