Drishyam: The Conclusion review: Ajay Devgn returns with another game of perception and deception

Drishyam: The Conclusion brings Ajay Devgn back as Vijay Salgaonkar for one final battle of deception, evidence and perception against powerful new rivals.

Drishyam: The Conclusion brings Ajay Devgn back as Vijay Salgaonkar for the final chapter of the Hindi Drishyam franchise. Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film tells an original story and once again builds its suspense around one central idea: what you see is what you believe.

Set a few months after Drishyam 2, the story introduces new challenges for Vijay and his family. Jaideep Ahlawat plays SP Rajveer Singh Tomar, while Prakash Raj appears as public prosecutor Indrajith Shetty. Meera and Mahesh Deshmukh, played by Tabu and Rajat Kapoor, continue their search for answers and bring another serious legal challenge into Vijay’s carefully constructed world.

The film’s biggest strength is its storytelling. Rather than showing a new crime, it creates tension around an old one and asks whether Vijay’s version of events can survive fresh investigation. The first half uses entertaining dialogues, familiar references and clever editing to keep the audience guessing. Even when you think you understand where the story is heading, the question remains about how Vijay will reach that point.

Ajay Devgn once again plays Vijay with remarkable restraint. His calm expression and controlled performance fit the character perfectly. Jaideep Ahlawat adds authority as a new opponent, while Prakash Raj brings weight to the legal proceedings.

The second half takes its time, but the slow build is part of the film’s design. The emotional impact is not as strong as the earlier chapters, but the mystery remains engaging.

Drishyam: The Conclusion works because it makes the audience question what they have seen, what they believe and, most importantly, what Vijay wants them to believe.
